OpenBeam Cloud uses your openbeam.world account. There is no password: you sign in with a link or code sent to your email. Use the same browser from start to finish.

## Create an account

1. Open [OpenBeam Cloud](https://cloud.openbeam.world/app/?ref=openbeam.world), or choose **Join the free beta** on [openbeam.world](https://openbeam.world/).
2. Choose **Sign in with openbeam.world**. In the sign-in window, choose **Sign up** and enter an email address you can reach.
3. Open the email we send you and follow its instructions to confirm your address.

Your account needs OpenBeam Cloud access before you can start a session or approve a device. During the beta we approve accounts gradually. If yours is still waiting, the sign-in page says so.

1. Open [OpenBeam Cloud](https://cloud.openbeam.world/app/?ref=openbeam.world) and choose **Sign in with openbeam.world**.
2. Enter the email address of your OpenBeam account and submit the form.
3. Open the sign-in email and use its link in the same browser, or enter its one-time code if the page offers that.
4. You return to OpenBeam Cloud automatically. If you stay on the main website, open [the Cloud sign-in page](https://openbeam.world/cloud/).
5. Check that the dashboard shows **Play**, **Mods** and **Recordings**.

## Use a beta invite

If we sent you an invite code, enter it in the **Invite code** field on the Cloud sign-in page and choose **Join the beta**. An invite code is not the same as the device code you use to connect an AI app; for that, see [Generate a code and connect over MCP](https://openbeam.world/docs/generate-a-code-and-connect-over-mcp/).

## Start with a fresh sign-in

OpenBeam Cloud and openbeam.world keep separate sign-ins. Signing out of Cloud can leave you signed in on the main website, so your next Cloud sign-in may finish on its own. To start from scratch:

1. On the Cloud dashboard, choose **Sign out**.
2. Open [your account on openbeam.world](https://openbeam.world/#/portal/account) and sign out there too.
3. Go back to OpenBeam Cloud and sign in again.
